It’s definitely not time around here to break out the winter coats but it is time to start browsing around for the perfect one to add to the closet for the upcoming chilly season.

As crazy as it sounds, I stumbled upon the perfect winter coat when doing a little shopping in Miami. The cobalt beauty below caught my eye and I’m just waiting for the right moment to make it mine (I wanted to give it a couple days to make sure I really loved it).

When it comes to adding a winter coat to your closet, I suggest breaking out all your options and then deciding which style/color you’d like to add this year. Maybe it’s a new puffer coat or a bright colored topper that can make any basic outfit bold.

Each winter, I usually retire one old coat and add one to the mix. Last year I snagged a new winter white coat and now I can’t wait to break it out of it’s freshly cleaned bag. Actually, I can wait a little while longer. I’m not quite ready for winter coat season. Just winter coat shopping season.
