Confession: I definitely haven’t made my holiday shopping gift list … yet. I can’t seem to get my gift giving act together until the week of Thanksgiving.
But since I got the opportunity to talk about this TOMSforTarget collection, I did a little late night Target run yesterday (went for ONE THING, left with two bags and less money in my bank account) and found myself mentally making a list. Those glass water bottles would be a great co-worker gift, that candle is a perfect hostess present and that crazy comfy little boys tee may be going in D3’s stocking. I’m also pretty obsessed with the leather and canvas pouches which are great under $20 gifts for friends.
The best part about the whole collection is that in the spirit of the TOMS brand, when you purchase an item, they will give a pair of shoes, a blanket or a meal to someone in need. Definitely something that helps get you really in the Christmas giving spirit. So buy a couple gifts for friends – my picks below – and then get in the spirit of giving yourself and pick a charity to support this holiday season. I’m a huge fan of volunteering with The Salvation Army’s efforts but there are so many ways you can help those in need this time of year. It only takes a little of your time to make a big difference.
Blanket | Pouches 1 + 2 | Boys Tee | Boys & Girls Shoes
Candle | Poncho | Men’s Anorak | Glass Water Bottles 1 + 2 + 3 |
Bracelets | Tote Bag
Not that you really care but on my little shopping excursion, I hunted endlessly for the poncho to no avail. I did end up taking home a couple water bottles, the arrow pouch, this men’s anorak (such a great buy) and this sweater. Yes, I may have splurged a little but knowing that my over-spending at Target habits went a little farther this time did soften the blow.
