First off, thanks to everyone for all the nice notes re: my anniversary. Me {and the hubs} appreciate it  T  H  I  S  much!

Second, on account of our celebratory dinner I wasn’t able to edit my pics from this past weekend, so instead I will encourage you to spend your hard earned money at local shops.

Here’s the deets on some sales going down around town.

• Collections at Westport Village  is having a jewelry sale!  All fashion jewelry 50%  Tuesday and Wednesday (October 25 -26). They always have a great selection of fun pieces that can jazz up an otherwise simple look, so head on over and scoop up some goodies.
  And while you’re at Westport Village ….
• Head on over to Chartreuse Boutique where they are having a tag sale Tuesday and Wednesday (October 25 -26) with tons of markdowns.
• Blush Louisville is hosting a Craft Your Own Costume party on Thursday night. If you’re looking for a last minute costume, I’m sure they can help you put something together.
• Last but not least, this isn’t a sale but will definitely be fun – a bunch of local boutiques (Clodhoppers, Circe, dressing room, blink & Rodeo Drive) are hosting Fashion Night Out on Thursday. It all benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Louisville. I think there are still some last minute tickets available.
• This one’s not local but for a new affiliate on LouWhatWear. If you haven’t been on ASOS.com yet you need to. It’s great for fun basics that won’t cost you a bajillion bucks. They are having a deal now on dresses and don’t act like you don’t need a dress for the holidays. Get your killer party dress for $65 at ASOS now until 10.30.11.
