Yay for Friday!

I was a little worried that this week would be a beast – catching up from a week away from the office during such a busy time of year – but honestly, it was a really good one. Productive – filed our taxes, bought Derby tickets, had two photoshoots (one for the blog and one for Coopers’ Craft). And very fun – got lunch with one of my mentors, found out we’re probably going to Oaks, toured Rabbit Hole distillery. I feel like for the last month or so I’ve been in a big funk, feeling like I was drowning at work and overwhelmed with some trying family times, but it seems like I’ve come out the other side of things.

So yeah, a good week. I hope yours was also filled with some good times especially heading into the weekend. It’s Thunder Over Louisville here so I know a lot of people are gearing up for a good time. We’re skipping the Thunder festivities this year but am pretty excited that it signals the official start of Derby season.
