Super Bowl Sunday has left me a little sluggish this Monday morning, so I thought I’d share some pictures from last Monday when the sun shine and spring-ish weather had me throwing together a decidedly un-wintery look. I basically just wanted to wear the bright purple belt I picked up while working on my Spring Scavenger Hunt piece for the Voice.

When I bought this skirt, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the maxi skirt look but it’s been a nice alternative to jeans especially when I feel like dressing down (and the price was right).  And I’m sure you’re surprised that I was wearing stripes. I promise I’ll be taking a quick stripe hiatus after today’s post.

I loved this outfit but after looking at the pics, it didn’t photograph super well – the shirt looks a little wonky (I’ll also try and find a better background!). Oh well. Live & Learn.
