This past weekend I had the great pleasure of attending the amazing, black-tie wedding of a high school friend. This was no standard wedding, this beauty was held at the incredible Vizcaya Museum & Gardens (seriously, use the link to check the place out, it is unreal) in Miami (Florida not Ohio). Vizcaya is this amazing home built in the early 1900’s by developer James Deering that mimics European (mainly Italian) villas (sorry for the quick history lesson). It is right on the water and the wedding was so crazy beautiful (i’ve included some shots below for you to get an idea). There were flowers for days, gorgeous weather and great company.
Since this was a black-tie event, I needed something special so I headed over to Clodhoppers where Meggie helped me find the perfect dress. And even though it was short, it had the perfect mix of fun and fancy, especially after I added a few key accessories. I apologize in advance for the pictures – I forgot my camera here in Louisville and my mom filled in as the photog with her camera – but I had to share with you all!
Enjoy!

Gorgeous right?
WOW – that dress is incredible! And I am so jealous that you got to attend a black tie affair at Vizcaya. That property is unreal.
