Last week I was running around like crazy (hence the hectic posting) because on Saturday we hosted an engagement party for my dearest friend Kelly and her groom-to-be Grant. The party marked the first time all four of their parents were together so in honor of the bride’s North Carolina roots and current KY home, we did a BBQ showdown: North Carolina style vs. Kentucky style.

The party was a lot of fun and I think a good time was had by all (we ran out of beer so I’m thinking that’s a good sign). Anyways, rather than ramble on about the details, I’ll just share the pics. Enjoy!
