Happy Friday! I’ve been counting down to the weekend – my mom is visiting for a few days, i’m going to Nashville for the night for one of my best friends Bachelorette parties and UK plays tonight (this post is an attempt to put aside my anxiety about the game for a few minutes).

Earlier this week, I busted out the red shoes I snagged from Zara in NYC and built an outfit around them. I am a huge fan of wide leg pants, black & white and stars so this outfit is a new favorite. Add in that it was super comfortable (blouse + wide leg pants + wedges = work comfy) and you’ll know why I made the hubs take my picture when I got home from work (as we rushed out the door for dinner). Sorry for not getting better pics of the shoes.

I also got to work in my birthday present,  a La Mer Watch that I’d been eying (on Pinterest) for months. Thankfully, the awesome girls my husband works with pointed him in the right direction. Please pardon the band-aid (cut myself removing those annoying hanger straps) and our over grown yard.
