And just like that, the weekend’s over.
I couldn’t be more thankful to be enjoying a week away but despite being more than 1800 miles from home I’m filling today’s post with a signature Kentucky day at Keeneland. For the wedding I was in last weekend, the bride-to-be rented a big ole Greyhound and took friends & family on a day trip to Lexington to kick off the wedding festivities. Since many guests were coming from out of town, it was a chance for them to get a little taste of horse racing in Kentucky at Keeneland.
The weather was gorgeous and there were a bevy of beautiful gals in both traditional and a little more out of the box styles for a day at the races.
The 227: Jodie, Cara (dress: French Connection); Me (Dress worn as a top: ASOS, Skirt: Forever 21; Necklace: eBay, Boots: Frye); Maggie (Dress: Target)
Kate & Lindsey – Love Kate’s turquoise collar and booties. Lindsey brought a little rock n roll to Keeneland which looks so fresh, youthful and frankly – hot.
Love how Katie took a bright color (and white) and made it perfect for fall.
Katharine looking both fashionable & age-appropriate in black & blue. How amazing is that skirt? (p.s. – I used to babysit Katharine and I geek out a little bit every time I see her since she’s by far one of my most favorite people. Yup, and she’s 14.)
Stopped by to see Alex from Lex What Wear.
Always obsessed with Cara’s stack of sparkly bracelets.
LOVED everyone’s looks. Kates collar necklace is too cute, loved lindsey’s edgy skirt, your dress that you made into a cute shirt/skirt combo and everyone elses looks too. i cant believe maggie’s dress was from target, totally didnt know that!!
D, you look awesome. I have that same Orange and navy dress and wore it to keeneland w a pair of Frye boots yesterday. Love all your pics. XOXO
I LOVE your outfit – the skirt with the boots is fabulous! & I heart your friend Lindsay – how gorgeous is she?! 🙂
