Over the weekend, we hit the road and went DEEP into the country for an engagement party for a couple awesome friends – Thor and Megan. When I say deep, I mean we spent over an hour on back roads to make it to Brooksville, KY. The winding roads and strange grocery store pit stop were definitely worth it once we got to the Morgan’s house.

The views were crazy beautiful, the weather was perfect and the company was great. They grilled out (on a GIANT Grillmaster-style grill) and had a big potluck along with a really good band from Lexington (hopefully someone will remind me of their name and I can plug them). The crew I rode with decided to head back to Louisville once it got dark but everyone else camped out (which looked like a lot of fun).

Since I brought along my camera, I had to snap a quick outfit post of Morgan’s perfect summer look. She kept it casual but looked so cute so I suckered her into getting her pose on.
