Saturday night the Louisville Marriott Downtown was packed with some of Louisville’s Best Dressed for The Voice-Tribune’s annual celebration of style. Drew & I were invited to attend as guests of the Marriott, a client of mine, so we got all glammed up for a night of fun.
There was tons of fabulously dressed people, I spotted one awesome outfit – leather shorts with a leopard blouse and bun – but alas the stylish gal was out of eye sight before I could track her down. As can be expected, there were sequins galore (on me included) but there was a lot of late-summer color, glam minis and all-in-all a great collection of stylish folks.
I didn’t get to snag as many pictures as I would have liked (I can still get a little nervous about approaching people especially when I forget my business cards!) but here’s a little sampling.
Rebekah Phillips & Best-Dressed Winner Hadley Hartz
Love both of their looks but the color on Hadley’s sequin dress is so unexpected. Love it.
Jonathan and Tracy Blue, Publisher of The Voice-Tribune
Caroline King, Lauren DePaso, Megan Weber & Alden Ochs
Kristen & Hunter Wilson – Nominated for Best Dressed Couple
I was a huge fan of this gal’s dress. So simple (and looked really comfortable) with a peak of glam. Definitely caught my eye.
Lynsey Creech & Megan Thompson
I don’t love these pics but it’s all I have of my outfit (sorry). I rented this Nanette Lepore dress from Rent the Runway & was very happy when it came. Fit well (I’ve had poor fit experiences in the past – too big, WAY too small and all the same size) and was perfect for the event.
Love your brocade dress – very right now. And I think my favorite style spot was the girl in the long black dress with the sequin mini underneath – so unexpected and cool.
You look fabulous! That dress is phenom! Love all your style spotting pics.. Ummm I NEED Hadley’s dress!

I adore your dress! And I love the first blue one also. Sounds like a fun event!

I’m sorry I missed you at BD2012, Danielle! It would have been cool to meet you in-person at long last!
