After checking out two of my favorite blogs Monday morning (Atlantic-Pacific & B-Soup), it appears I wasn’t the only one that had red & blue on the brain (although both of those gals styled it up a little more fab and less casual).

I threw this look together to spice up my normal jeans + t-shirt weekend uniform. Going with red on the bottom put a little spring in my step on Sunday morning and lately, whenever I put these on, I immediately grab something blue to go with them. I’m sure this outfit was inspired by something but I didn’t reach for a specific picture when getting ready so I can’t share an inspiration link today. More of that to come later this week.
