In just two weeks (can you believe it), Kentucky Oaks day will be here. Eek! It makes my heart so happy.
We’re not going to Oaks this year – we have some friends coming in town (also makes my heart so happy) so I’m sure I’ll be running around like a crazy person getting everything ready for their arrival. I’m a little bummed that we won’t be going to Oaks, so if you’re planning to head to the track, have a lily (or two …) for me.
And if you’re planning on going but still don’t know what you’re going to wear, here’s an option that I love. This white lace dress – from the Vineyard Vines Kentucky Derby collection – has been getting its fair share of play because it’s such versatile shape, fits great and goes with EVERYTHING. Plus, it has the prettiest horseshoe pattern in the lace. This year VV did their first fascinator collaboration too with Forme by Louisville Milliner Jenny Pfanenstiel. There is a really cute blue option but I am obsessed with this bright pink number. It will go with a ton of options but really pops with the white. And it’s under $125 so it won’t break the bank.
Love your derby style!

[…] didn’t end up settling on this dress until about a week or so before (although I did wear this combo to Thurby). I wanted to do something floral and bright but with a twist. Every time I tried […]
