So I am struggling a little this Monday. Tackling that to-do list coupled with the hangover from a weekend full of home improvements projects (plus attending a very fun night of Night Racing, more details on that later) has me all out of whack.

In the chaos of the last couple weeks, I totally forgot to share this post from the Big Brothers Big Sisters Masquerade Ball that a big group of our friends went to earlier this month. I had never been to a masquerade party so it was a lot of fun to find a mask and get all dolled up for a night out. It did end up being the same night that Miami got demolished by Florida State (things haven’t been the same since), so I spent half of the night listening to the game on the radio (yes, I was THAT person but i had to support my canes) but it was still a lot of fun.

Side note: if you’re in Louisville and are ever given the opportunity to see Tony & The Tan Lines play, seize it. Seriously, they are one of the most fun cover bands around. Lots of 80’s party rock (think Hall & Oats, Genesis, Huey Lewis and the News, Gloria Estefan, tunes from Footloose and Dirty Dancing) and they stay in character the entire time.
