Fall makes me happy. The weather. Football. Pumpkin everything. And the start of a “new” year (yeah i’m not in school anymore but who cares – still feels fresh). But most importantly – I love the clothes. Boots. Comfy Sweaters. Rich colors. Coats. Scarfs. It’s just so cozy and so chic at the same time.

So despite the 90 degree weather last week, the minute I stepped inside Clodhoppers, it felt like fall. Jewel tone coats & dresses, fur vests and jackets and skirts that could have stepped off the set of Mad Men. There were still some transition pieces, like bright orange shorts you can wear now while it’s still warm and with tights and boots when it cools down a little. But there were tons of fall basics and those special classics that you’ll hold onto forever.

What’s on your fall wish list?

Some of the items are a little out of my price range but I may be heading back soon to snag this wrap bracelet and one of those graphic print scarves. What is the one item you may splurge on this fall? Boots? A new coat? Some cashmere?
