Summer outdoor weddings can be tricky. Will it be ridiculously hot or unseasonably cool? You also have to take into account the setting.  Will it be entirely on grass (grab the wedges) at a country club or will your heels be safe on solid ground? And last but not least, the couple. Are they free-spirited, conservative, wild, casual or a combination of those (and more)? It’s a lot to consider, which means a lot of options.

But if you have a dress that fits well, looks great and doesn’t show too much skin – you’re usually good to go (just pack a big wrap if it’s chilly). Right now, I’m loving floral prints, bright colors and mixing separates for a fun outdoor affair.
