it’s too hot. dresses only please.

Jul 15, 2020

We’ve officially reached the point of the summer where it’s hotter than Hades. Although with the current state of the world, maybe this is Hades and we’ve reached the boiling point. Sorry, I’ve clearly been watching too many TikTok conspiracy theory videos. It’s a weird time.

It’s also hot. And I can’t bear to put on pants, let alone jeans, when it is eight million degrees outside. The sweating, the chaffing, even more sweating. It’s too much. So if you see me out in the world in the next few weeks, it will be in a dress. Also because dresses are all that fit me right now. They are basically summer sweatpants.

At this point, I consider myself a self-appointed expert in searching for breezy, comfy dresses. Ones that work for running errands and sitting on a patio for socially distanced cocktails as well as for sitting around my newly upgraded patio solo. I’ve come to the conclusion that Target and H&M are the spot for all the breezy mumus.

This leopard one is my fave because it’s cute enough to wear out but also SO comfy and keeps you cool. If leopard’s not your bag, it comes in some solid colors and other prints too. Plus it’s $25 and you can get it when you go to buy TP and more random toys to keep your kids entertained in the Q.

So yeah, that’s about all I’ve got for today but I’m back in action over here and working to keep it rolling. In the mean time, don’t forget that I’m posting all the time on instagram (mostly about Britney and the panics associated with my kids not going back to school) and you can shop all my IG posts here.
