Sneaking in one last outfit from Sea Island on this Monday Monday. Nothing like vacation pictures to really get you motivated at the start of a week. Yeah, no. All I want to do is go back to the beach, drink pretty cocktails and sit in the sun. I can tell you the view from my desk isn’t comparable. I’ve told you all before about my love/hate relationship with jumpsuits. Love the look but finding one for my longer torso has proved problematic, basically, because camel toe isn’t a good look on anyone. But a few bad fits haven’t turned me on the look and so I keep giving them a shot in hopes that I’ll find a good apple here and there.
This Trina Turk number from Rent the Runway is a good apple. I could have worn it every day during my trip to Sea Island. It fit perfectly, was crazy comfortable and most importantly, made getting ready SO easy. Event outfit anxiety is real and this totally alleviated that feeling. I feel like it would be perfect for a Spring or Summer rehearsal dinner, I could also imagine renting it for a work event paired with a white blazer and heels.

Don’t even get me started on my love for these sandals. Yes, they’re a little on the pricey side but they say you should buy things you love and these sandals make me smile every time I see them (they ‘spark joy’ as Marie Condo would say).
