It’s Derby Week! 

Kentucky Derby fever is in the air – the Derby Festival Balloon Race on Friday, the Marathon/Mini-Marathon on Saturday and the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair all weekend. This week will be full of parties (we hosted a really fun one on Friday – more on that in another post), the Derby Festival Parade and for me, lots of final preparations for our big event at work – the Hermitage Grand Gala.

It’s also the last week of the Derby series around here. I’ll be bummed when it’s over but it will also be good to get back to the regular routine. Until then though, it’s going to be an all out bonanza of Derby looks. I’m guessing by now, most people have rounded up their outfit, but if not, I’ve got lots more inspiration to come.

So let’s get to it. Today’s look is so sweet and southern – it’s like a glass of sweet tea in a dress. Perfect for a southern belle spending the day sipping mint juleps in a 3rd Floor Clubhouse box.
