The sun is shining and we are less than three weeks away from Derby… life is good.
So I know there are a lot of different styles, ages and body types who check out these Derby posts and I want to make sure I am sharing picks for everyone. This Maggy London sheath is one that I think would work for just about any age, style or body type. Normally, I am a fan of a shorter hem line but I know a lot of you aren’t big fans of the mini skirt so this one is for you. And if you’re like me and can’t deal with a longer length, you can always hem it up! But I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the length on this one… gave me an appropriate for a British Royal Family event vibe.
This dress is simple enough to go as crazy as you want with your hat or fascinator but the one-shoulder ruffle keep it fun and add a flirty touch. I’d recommend this dress if you’re going to the track with work or corporate clients since you’ll be keeping it classy while still looking cute. The best part? This dress is under $150 so you can splurge on accessories to go really bold. I’d love this with an over the top green piece – this Headcandi one would be perfect.
