I love the holidays. Seriously, I do. But man, do they take it out of me. This year, I thought we’d get a little bit of a break from the madness but it seems like it just manifested in other ways. I’m sure I say this every year but I feel like it’s busier than ever. You just enter in your zip code, select your store and you’re good to go if this benefit is available in your area.  And that my friends, is a godsend because every day I get an email reminding me about something I’ve forgotten. And every time I get home, I realize there’s something I forgot to pick up last time I was at the store.

The Walmart+ membership is $98 a year or $12.95 a month and, depending on your location, you get free delivery from your Walmart store on orders $35+, along with member prices on fuel, mobile scan & go (so great for when you’re trying to get in and out of the store quickly) and the newest benefit that just launched this month: Walmart+ free shipping with no order minimum* (huzzah!).

I signed up last week and immediately took advantage of the free delivery from my store. The order was placed minutes after receiving an email from my kids after-school care program (they are doing NTI through the program at school – long story… ) asking for treats for a small holiday party at school. Boom  – ordered some Rice Krispy Treats and Little Debbie cakes and knocked that off my list. Also realized that I’d run out of coffee creamer, had forgotten a hanger for a wreath I just bought and needed a new pack of cotton pads. That’s why I love this benefit.  It’s so good for the random stuff you forget to pick up. You just throw it all in the cart and boom, it’s on your doorstep within hours.

I know that it’s the gift that keeps on giving for me, especially since I’ve just randomly been adding things to my cart throughout the week so that I can hit deliver when another moment of absentmindedness strikes. I ALWAYS forget to buy stocking stuffers (shocker) so this year I finally got ahead of it and filled my cart up with some little goodies for the kids.
