I couldn’t be more excited to launch Lou What Wear today. A little idea I dreamed up poolside is now a reality and I can’t wait to see where this leads.
To introduce the site, Lou What Wear came about after I became mildly obsessed with ‘outfit of the day’ blogs. I adore Cupcakes & Cashmere, Atlantic-Pacific, Sterling Style, Brooklyn Blonde and so many more. But as much as I love them, I just didn’t think (that’s generous, I 100% knew) that I just couldn’t pull it off. My outfits are not always picture worthy but I know so many other lovely Louisville ladies who are picture worthy on a daily basis. So I took a page from The Sartorialist and decided to give it a local spin. Why not take pictures of girls looking great whenever I spot one? And so Lou What Wear was born.
We may not be NYC or LA but there is so much great fashion and style in Louisville and this blog is dedicated to showcasing it. I’m excited to feature real girls (and guys – you never know!) looking great, sharing the latest trends, visiting with local boutiques and more.
And, if YOU spot someone looking great or if you know you are looking good, snap a pic and send it to me! Just include your info and any outfit details (brands, stores, lipstick/nail polish color names) and send it to submit@louwhatwear.com
