I have got the shoe shopping bug… bad.

A week or so ago, I did a major shoe purge. I got rid of shoes I was keeping just because I got them on sale or ones that were a little too small. Mostly I got rid of ones that were well past their prime. Unfortunately, my work heels took a big hit and now I am lusting after all of the strappy heels that are everywhere this season. Since I’m narrowing down my favorites, I thought I’d bring you all in the mix. Group retail therapy, right?

The biggest thing I love about this trend is the focus on the stacked heel. So much more comfortable and I think it balances out the straps really well. Right now I’m leaning towards the simple Madewell pair (#6 below – they also come in a cranberry color) or the more delicate Steve Madden pair (#1 – these also come in a few colors).

If you don’t want a lot of height, you’re in luck because there are a lot of options out there with a lower heel. Or you can get a little bolder and opt for the silver pair. How great would these be with a little black dress for a holiday party?
