Is this coat blue or mint? I’m not quite sure. I’m not colorblind but I’ll pretend for the sake of this post’s title.
I love this coat but you have to work the angles with it. It’s definitely oversized but when paired with a simple, sleek combo of skinny jeans and a tee, it works. I’ve been wearing it with dark basics (like when I wore it here) to let the coat do all the talking. Even when it makes me look a little large (see picture #2), I can’t be mad because it is so crazy warm.
You guys, it is my favorite day of work all year. Our company Secret Santa + Christmas party. A while back I would have been among those that absolutely dread a company function but one thing I am thankful for every day is the awesome crew of people I work with. I know that sounds sappy and cheesy but it’s true. Sometimes the minutiae of the job may stink but if you work with good people, it makes going to work fun. I scored a pretty sweet calendar from my secret santa and now it’s time to get jazzed up for dinner. Last year I had to pass on the holiday libations (and after-dinner fun) so I am looking forward to making up for lost time. I’m sure I’ll be paying for it tomorrow but oh well. Basically what I’m saying is, if I don’t post tomorrow – you’ll know why.
