After growing up in Miami, it’s taken me a while to getting used to dressing for cold weather. I still call everything, from a cardigan to a sweatshirt, a sweater (at one point they were all the same to me) and I don’t own nearly enough cozy knits to keep me warm through the winter (I’ve been known to wear short-sleeve shirts under my coat on the reg).
So when I found this sweater – a tall! perfect for my long torso! – on sale at Gap, I knew it would make a great new go-to. I doubled up on the Gap goodies by pairing it with this super comfy burgundy cords. I’m thinking some combination of this look will be my winter uniform.
What’s your cold weather must have? Picked up any oxblood/burgundy pieces yet? Let’s discuss!
Sweater: Gap (similar here); Shirt: J.Crew; Cords: Gap; Booties: ShoeMint; Sunglasses: Kate Spade
Cute cords and I LOVE houndstooth! I really wanted to buy a pair of bordeaux skinny jeans at The Limited’s sale this weekend, but my couch wouldn’t let me go shopping 😉
