Outfit Post: Navy

Clearly I’m on a bit of a blue kick these days. Just can’t get enough of my favorite color – no matter the shade. And today it’s navy.

Not going to lie, the way I looked in {my mind} in the mirror and the way I looked in real life were a little different on this look. Clearly, I’ve still got a ways to go to get back to my pre-baby weight. I thought about not posting these pictures but then I realized that it sucks to think you’re the only one out there that didn’t shed all of their baby weight in a hot second (I’m looking at you Hollywood). And since I snapped these pics about 10 days ago – it helps to see that things are progressing along, it just takes a little longer sometimes than you’d like.

The gals at Single Thread Boutique hooked up with this fun number – which I’m thinking would be cute tucked into a skirt as a top – and are offering Lou What Wear readers 20% off their ENTIRE purchase with code “LOUWHATWEAR” They get new items in every week so you’re sure to find something you like and if you don’t just try again on Tuesday.

I’m loving this open back sweater, super into this plaid relaxed blouse, and may need to order this quilted gray sweater for fall.

On a side note, Louisville readers – I’ve created a louisville events page (find it in the top menu) to keep everyone up to date on the latest sales, local events and other random happenings. If you’ve got something you’d like to add to the list, be sure to send it to [email protected] And be sure to check it out from time to time if you’re looking for the latest.

Love the dress, and you look awesome. Can I ask how tall you are? I’m 5’11, so have a feeling that dress would look like a shirt on me. It’s so cute though!
I’ll check out your Louisville events page!

thanks so much katie! yeah it’s almost too short for me and i’m almost 5’9 so it would probably be too short for you. It would make for a cute skirt though!
