Today feels like a Friday to me. We’re leaving this afternoon {on a 10 hour drive} to Alabama for a fun wedding weekend and I’m in the process of running through my final checklist of to-do’s while mentally checking out. Not so good when you’ve got a full day of work ahead.

This outfit post is coming a little later than I would have liked it, it just got lost in the shuffle but since it’s going to be a toasty 85 degrees today here –  I guess it’s not totally inappropriate. I snagged this light-weight sweater at the Monkee’s grand opening and have been breaking it out on almost every semi-chilly day since. I love how cozy and slouchy it is, plus it goes with just about everything. Now that I look at this outfit again (and check out how wonky my hair looks in all of them), I’d probably change out my black booties here for something a little different, maybe the Target booties I snagged earlier this week.
