I had to ease into this week because Monday just was kind of a mess for me. My phone and I took a swim over the weekend, so dealing with that madness (and by madness, I mean customer support circles of confusion) got my Monday off to a great start. That’s clearly a First World Problem but when your boss is sending out group texts at 6 am that you miss and your husband is heading out of town for week, it’s definitely a priority to get connected again.

Side note: my Sunday without a phone was freeing, relaxing and made me super productive. I did a lion’s share of my random house chores, did a big chunk of a calligraphy project I’m doing for a friend, watched Wimbeldon without being distracted by Twitter AND watched a movie. If I could get away with being disconnected more often, I would. But being in public relations makes that pretty unfeasible so I’ll have to just enjoy my pool-induced break.

So yeah while my Monday may have a been all over the place, my Sunday was about as carefree as possible which was the vibe I had going last week while rocking this perfect Summer look. These joggers were a find in the Anthropologie Sale Room of Shame (why do they make you go into that closet to find deals). I was a little unsure about them at first but since they were on sale, I figured I would give them a go. This tee is one of my favorite buys ever (I own it in three colors now) and can’t recommend it enough. I’ve worn this tee with suits and sweatpants – slouchy in the best way and not at all sloppy.

Last but not least, these earrings are still on sale. And they are still so good.
