I think it’s happening guys (no, not the apocalypse but this political season has me wondering…). I’ve hit the point in this pregnancy where time starts to slow down. Like how is it only Thursday? This week is dragging for me. I’m blaming it on the dreary weather, the fact that Drew is out of town (two kids solo means so much driving, so much Disney Channel) and actually having plans to look forward to on Friday. Speaking of those plans, I’ve heading to Wine, Women and Shoes benefitting the Family Scholar House tomorrow night and will be taking over their instagram so be sure to follow them (and be sure to get a last minute entry into this bomb-ass giveaway).
I sported this outfit to work on Monday (I think it was Monday) after rediscovering this sweater in a dry cleaning bag (it’s like getting all new stuff when it’s been gone for a long time). Paired it with a couple of standards – this vest + jeans + boots combo that you’re probably getting tired of but I’m going to say it’s a “capsule collection” to make it seem better and “on trend.” I’m loving sweaters like this though for this weird time of year for getting dressed. Is it going to be 70 or 30 degrees? Who knows? But this sweater plus or minus a layer is the easiest way to make it work either way.
In other totally unrelated news, I have been obsessing over a podcast I just discovered – Bitch Sesh. Not sure if any of you watched Happy Endings (if you didn’t, add it to your Netflix queue and binge watch, it’s hilarious) but this podcast has Casey Wilson from the show along with her friend Danielle Schneider (great name if I do say so myself) discussing the Real Housewives Series. It is amazing and has had me laughing out loud awkwardly at my desk all week. Download it. Listen. Then call/tweet/send smoke signals to me to discuss because I can’t get enough.
