Outfit Post: Pineapple

May 5, 2015

Pineapples are having quite the little party for themselves right now huh? No longer relegated to umbrellas in daiquiris, pineapples are all over the place including this skirt that I’m pretty obsessed with right now. So comfortable and soft, flirty and fun but not too short and best of all, under $20 right now. See you can be a little trendy when you find something that’s the perfect combination of fun and affordable.

Someone who’s not having a little party for themselves right now is me since now I’m trying to catch up with life and all the other work that got pushed to the back these last few weeks. Add to that a bit of a sleepless night from a small human with an ear ache and this Cinco de Mayo could use a pick me up. No complaints though. The weather is beautiful and I’m looking forward to spending some time outside later this afternoon, possibly with a cocktail with a pineapple on top.

Pineapple Printed Skirt: Living Dolls c/o Belk  (only $20 right now!); Tank Top: Target (soo crazy old but they have these guys every year thankfully); Sneakers: Superga (seen here and here); Sunglasses: H&MPhotos by Whitney Neal

  1. You’re definitely Wonder Woman for powering through all of Derby in its splendor + having two kiddos and a hubby. You definitely deserve a cocktail with a pineapple on top (or four) tonight. Cheers!

Haha, thanks Josh! Not sure about that but I appreciate it. Definitely in need of a long post-Derby slow down!

I am obsessed with the pineapple print. Thanks for sharing.

  3. First of all, I may have already clicked the link and put that skirt in my cart. Let’s just make a deal that we won’t show up at the same party wearing it, okay?
Also, I love that you’re always pointing us toward Belk’s. Love that store; reminds me of summertime trips South when I was a kid. 🙂

You are going to love it! It’s even better in person.
Love Belk! After going to the event with them, I am keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll open one here in Louisville soon.
