Is it bad that for Mother’s Day I asked for a day to myself? I’m all about hanging with my loved ones but all I wanted was a day to come and go as I pleased – get stuff done and maybe sneak in a little reading. Thankfully, my wishes were granted and that’s what I did on Saturday (also snuck in a little trip to the Zappos outlet).
I finally got really into this book I’m reading called The Dinner so I spent some time making a major dent in it. I can’t wholeheartedly endorse it yet but it’s getting pretty good. Since the weather was so nice, I did a little reading in my favorite spot – our front porch and when Drew made his way back home, I made him snap some pics. Mostly because of this Pomegranate tunic that I’m mildly obsessed with. The fabric is the perfect weight – just light weight enough to make the long sleeves not too hot but also enough to keep you from getting chilly.
The gals at Pomegranate sent me over their lookbook in advance of their Louisville pop-up shop (more on that later) and I couldn’t help but want to hop on a plan to the Bahamas (and now I’m coveting this caftan and these lounge pants big time). The brand is more well known for their pretty printed home goods but their branch off into resort wear has me smitten. The good news, they are coming to Louisville this week for a pop-up shop at the Summit. The better news? They’ll be selling everything at wholesale prices! I’ve included all the details below. I’ll definitely be swinging by on a lunch break – hope to see some of you there!
Printed Tunic: c/o Pomegranate; Pink Jeans: Forever 21; Sandals: Target (old); Necklace: c/o Chloe + Isabel ; Watch: Coach
Pomegranate Spring 2013 “Pop Up Shop” in Louisville
Where: The Summit (next to ULTA – where Gigi’s Cupcakes use to be)
When: Wednesday May 15th- Saturday May 18th
From 10:00 am – 8:00pm
Additional Details: Wholesale prices to the public for FOUR DAYS only – up to 80% off! AND on Wednesday only they’ll be doing free monogramming on all totes.
And since I don’t quite capture the Caribbean spirit of the tunic on my front porch, here’s some of my other favorites from the line. Definitely get to the pop-up sale early to grab some of these goodies before they’re gone.
p.s. – Pomegranate sent me one of those adorable pom pom scarves and I love it. They will only have a limited quantity of those, so make such to stop by early if you’re interested!
I might just have to get this top!! It is so cute!! Especially with the pink jeans
Glad you enjoyed mother’s day! I think it should be a day to do as you please, and it sounds like you did! Cute tunic too.
