Oh hey Monday.
Yeah I’m dragging a little after a fun weekend spent mostly chasing Reese around the pool while trying to keep D3 from buying every popsicle in the snack bar. Also took a quick spin to Owensboro to celebrate my brother-in-law Alex and his bride-to-be Mallory for their last shower before the wedding in two short weeks. Very excited about that one! You’re probably well aware of these facts if you’re following me on Snapchat (@louwhatwear) – it’s mostly lots of kiddos, pool pics and the occasional stream of consciousness video but I’m traveling to Charleston (again! third and final trip of the year) this weekend for another wedding so you’ll want to follow along for that fun.
This outfit is similar to what you’re gonna find on my Snapchat – a lot of random things that go together. Mixed up some prints, threw on this great LOFT blazer to tie it all together and of course, paired it with sneakers. I know, I need a new pair of Supergas because this pair may be getting a little worn down.
In other random news, I know I’ve been a little slacking in the blogging lately. It was a sprint to get the new site designed and then I felt like I needed to take a little breather. This week may be another one that’s out of sorts but I’m working on launching some new content ideas – hoping to incorporate more Louisville back into the blog. With all the traveling, work commitments, trying (unsuccessfully) to sell our house and keep track of the kids, I’ve been a little overextended. But July looks like it’s going to be a lot less busy so the plan is to work on wrapping my head around these ideas. Is there anything you’d like to see more of? I’ve been feeling a mix of overwhelmed/too busy with travel + life + blog here lately as well, so I know exactly where you’re coming from, but as I’ve said before NO idea how you juggle it all!
