Outfit Post: Skirt the Rules

Aug 12, 2013

Some people may think skirts are a dressy (or at least dressier) option for work – especially the pencil variety. But for me, skirts are for lazy days. Even a more structured, form fitting skirt can be comfier than jeans when you’re sitting at a desk most of the day. Maybe that’s not the case for you all but for me, I’m all about ’em.

This same sentiment goes for other events – cocktails, showers, out to dinner – sometimes it’s just easier to throw on a skirt and go. I usually let the skirt do all the work and just throw on a t-shirt with it. This tee adds a little punch to a basic with the embellished collar. Perfect for helping lazy gals look nicer. Still can’t help the lazy pony tail though.

(side note: maybe that’s what I should have named this blog – a lazy girl’s guide to looking nicer)
