Okay so were any of you into the old Sanrio school gear back in the day? This old school drug store used to sell all of their gear and I would ride my bike up there to snag the latest pencil case or marker set. I was never a Hello Kitty fan but I loved me some Spottie Dottie (side note: please click on the link and read the description – I guarantee you will get a kick out of it).

You’re probably wondering what that has to do with this post. Absolutely nothing other than the fact that it demonstrates my longtime love of school supplies.

But when I thought about how I would describe these pants – it’s what popped in my head so I ran with it (that and the fact that I had a pretty long discussion with my co-workers about my love of Sanrio over Lisa Frank – feel free to add to the discussion in the comments).

I’ve had this sweater for a couple years and I love it. Seriously, I love it so much I own it in two colors. Sometimes you just gotta snag two. It’s good for the days when I’m feeling lazy but don’t want to look like a big old mess (aka all days that end in Y).
