Outfit Post: The Black T-Shirt

Aug 31, 2015

There are very few things I love more than a good t-shirt.

Okay, there are a lot of things I probably love more than t-shirts but when it comes to my wardrobe, my t-shirt drawers (yes, there are multiples) are packed to the brim. I am ALWAYS on the hunt for a great t-shirt. Always. So you can imagine my excitement when Louisville gal Annie St. Clair (you may remember her from her Creative Louisville feature a couple weeks back) dropped me a note about her new knitwear line – A. St. Clair. Even better than a new line of tees, is that you can customize her tees to exactly what you want. So sing a verse of “you can have whatever you like” and then head over to and pick the neckline, hem length and sleeve type of your choosing.

This black t-shirt has been my, hands-down, favorite from her line. Long hemline, scoop neck and short sleeves. I’ve worn it under a blazer for work, paired it with jean shorts for a day of shopping and worn it with leggings for a lazy day around the house. Love love love it.

Jumping the gun a little with this fall-ish look that I wore to dinner last week on an unseasonably cool evening. Just shows how a great t-shirt goes from season to season.

Best part of all – Annie is giving Lou What Wear readers 10% off so you can customize your perfect tee. Just enter code ‘louwhatwear‘ at check-out through September 4th. And we’re not done yet, head over to Instagram where I’m giving away a $100 A. St. Clair gift card. Not a bad way to start a Monday, huh?

  1. Can’t go wrong with a good oversized black tee! Especially when it’s local.
