This past weekend, I headed to Cincinnati to see one of my very bestest friends tie the knot (You may remember this post of our trip to Keeneland to celebrate her). I’m still recovering from laughing, dancing and partying too much but it was all worth it.
One of the highlights, other than the {stunning} bride, was my friend Cara’s tiny hat. Yes, you read that correctly. Cara rocked a tiny hatcinator (that’s my way of combining a hat & fascinator). It was pretty ridiculous in a good way and she definitely rocked it.
But just so we’re all clear – this is not an endorsement for tiny hats (whenever I write that I can’t help but think of the tiny hands skit from SNL, but I digress…).
Enjoy!
Emily – Dress: Max & Cleo (from BCBG Outlet), Booties: TJ Maxx ; Cara – Dress: French Connection, Shoes: Jessica Simpson
Yup, that’s a tiny hat.
Maggie – Dress: Lipstick: MAC So Chaud, Nails: OPI Rising Star
Maggie is amazingly good at doing hair. It is seriously, a special talent that I definitely don’t possess. I really wanted her to style me up for the wedding but we were running WAY behind. This up-do is just messy enough to not look fussy or overdone. I love it. I may end up pinning it to pinterest so others can enjoy it’s awesomeness.
And finally I leave with you a picture of the beautiful bride. Congrats Ryan & Jodie!
