Things have been so crazy busy lately that it feels like this post is months over-due. Instead, it’s a week late but better late than never.
Last Thursday night (after my Clodhoppers field trip), I headed over to the amazing Highlands home of Caitlin B (who is starting a grass roots campaign to get an Anthropolgie in Louisville – who’s with her? Let her know at @k8linB) for a Stella & Dot party. The night was full of wine, delicious food, gossip and a little shopping on the side – basically a perfect girls night. I shared some of my favorite items from the party last week but none of the lovely looks of the ladies in attendance.
Enjoy!
Courtney – Top: Plenty by Tracy Reese from Dillards
How cute is Courtney? Her outfits never disappoint – always classic with a little twist. I was obsessed with this blouse when she walked in and was jealous when I heard she snagged it on sale for something like $30.
Nails: Russian Navy by OPI
I had a twin manicure at the party. Turns out there were two of us rocking OPI’s Russian Navy with a dash of glitter on the ring finger. I love Taylor’s manicure and think it is perfect for fall. If you’re not ready to do the one glittery nail, you can keep it simple in with just Navy. (I also love Essie’s Midnight Cami. ) I like how navy is just a little different than the dark purples, deep reds and black that are now nail color staples for fall.
Pretty Jewelry + Food + Friends = Happiness.
I have a great picture of our beautious hostess that somehow did not get on my computer so I will be finding that and adding it later. Thanks to Caitlin for such a fun night.
What’s your favorite nail color for fall? Is there a piece of jewelry that is on your must-have list?
hey girl! loved the manicure pic! thank u and hope to see u girls again soon!
I really need to know what polish the sliver glitter nail is!
I'm not sure of the exact name but it's OPI – the one with the big giant glitter flakes!
Got it-thanks! I see you've been checking out Cupcakes & Cashmere too. Loving the contrasting ring finger!
