Event: Yum Bacon. LVAA Presents The Bacon Ball

I heart bacon. I also heart Kelly Allday who, to introduce you, is my fabulous co-worker that regularly snaps my outfit pictures.

So it was only natural that I share a little info on The Bacon Ball presented by the Louisville Visual Art Association and co-chaired by Ms. Allday herself. This is the third year for the event which promises to be a “night of booty-shakin’, art making, bacon ball extravaganza.”  The party includes a ton of great local restaurants like The Blind Pig, Proof on Main, Hammerheads, The Silver Dollar, Zanzabar and Feast BBQ so you know the food will be good. And with the purchase of a ticket you’ll receive two complimentary cocktails or beer, bacon bites, side dishes, sweets and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.Beyond the food and drinks, there will be music & dancing, art activities and a silent auction. Tickets are super reasonable (aka cheap – $35 for non-members), so if you don’t have plans for this Friday night – you should definitely consider it!

I’ll be there so if you see me stuffing my face with delicious pork products, let me finish my bite and then come say hi!

When: Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6-10 pm
Where: The Louisville Water Tower (River Road & Zorn Avenue)
Tickets: $25 for LVAA Members or $25 for non-members
Tickets can still be purchased by phone, 502.896.2146 x 100, or online here.
This is a 21+ event.

Proceeds benefit JCPS Students Art Supply Fund, Children’s Fine Art Classes (CFAC) and OPEN DOORS!

Wait, you’re Kelly’s friend?? That is crazy! Do you know Raegan, too? I know Kelly through Raegan – a really good friend of mine that I met while living in Chicago!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! IT was nice to “meet” you and I’m looking forward to reading yours!

Yup! I work with Kelly and am lucky enough to consider her a friend! :) Yeah, Raegan is awesome – she took some pictures for our office. Love the connection. You’re blog is so fun. I’ll be adding it to my favorites.
