Happy New Year!
My year is starting out on a pretty good note. The Bachelor started last night (so excited, mini-recap coming later), I dragged my ass out of bed to work out (major goal) and I just had a big time customer service win (basically saved like $500 from a seriously amazing Delta rep). After this morning’s wins, I should just call it a day and pack it up. Does that ever happen to you guys? Karma shines a little ray of sunshine on you and you don’t want anything to mess it up. This eliminates driving on the highway, going to a grocery store or really doing anything with my children (sorry, it’s the truth).
Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the day and sharing this major win of an outfit. This sweater is a life-changer. So it’s a little pricey and I’m not gonna lie, my mom bought it for me (thanks Brenda!) but if you really love it, it’s worth the splurge. It’s cashmere and it’s reversible. So it’s one of those pieces that’s worth going big on. I know this is a closet staple that I’ll keep around for a few seasons. I wore it here with white jeans and booties for work and I broke it out over the holiday break with this more casual combo of black denim and sneakers. Side note: I scooped up this entire outfit when I was in Vermont at Well Heeled which is the cutest boutique ever. If you’re ever in Stowe, you HAVE to stop in. But if you never make it up north, you can still shop online. I love their curated, minimal collection of closet staples. Not sponsored at all – I just really love the store.
Okay, I’m off to tackle my to-do list and avoid running my near perfect morning.
