Derby Dress of the Day: For the Jockey Club Suites

Mar 30, 2017

Came in yesterday with ALL the posts (don’t miss this one in the shuffle) and then coming in way late today. But hey, better late than never.

Milly Palm Print Sheath Dress

Today’s pick is for the Jockey Club Suites. If you’re one of the lucky fancy pants with tickets in these suites, take me with you.

No but really, you’re going to want to dress to impress. You’ll also have access to seats, air conditioning and all the finer things so you can get away with wearing something a little on the dressier (or in plain talk: high maintenance) side of things. I still think it’s a good idea to go with a block heel because you’ll still be doing some walking around plus it’s a long day and it just makes it more comfortable. If this color is a little too bold for you, these ridiculously cute sandals come in nude and black. You can also go with red if you’re feeling saucy.

I know that price points can vary for everyone and I’m compiling a whole stack of options under $150, this Milly number is a little higher BUT I absolutely love Milly dresses and this one is on sale. Like big time serious sale. I love how the palm print gives it a little pesonality and mixes it up but the black and white means you can pair it with almost any color headpiece. I’d love to do a fascinator with some height, like this one.
