Sorry for the delay on today’s Derby dress post, work got a little out of control and needless to say – the day got away from me.

With Oaks only a tiny bit more than a week away, I wanted to share a orangey-pink (the way my co-worker Ann describes her favorite color) beauty from Shoshanna. The good news: this dress is available both online and at Blink! in Louisville (although there weren’t many left when I was last there).

I love the subtle ombre color and the fit and flare shape. If you’re a color lover, you could pair a bright necklace (like this lovely from J.Crew. p.s. – you can save 25% off now with the code SPRINGBEST) over it to go with an equally bright hat. I’m thinking something in turquoise would be amazing with this. Then follow the model’s lead and pair it with simple, nude sandals.
