I woke up this morning and was fully convinced it was Friday. And then… it wasn’t.

But on the bright side, if it was actually Friday I would have missed the launch party Dress & Dwell is throwing tonight for their new exclusive, in-house line – Doll by Dress & Dwell. My love for D&D goes way back (like all the way back to my first Derby shoots) and in full disclosure, in the last year I’ve worked with them at Lemonade (in case you didn’t know, I have a PR firm as my main gig) on social media as well as now working with them on branding and emails. But even if I didn’t work with them, I’d be cheering them on and wearing all the clothes because I think Amanda does such a great job curating her shop full of wearable, fun pieces that don’t break the budget.

The launch party starts at 5 pm tonight and goes until 8 pm with apps, cocktails, a styling session with Shannon Kessler from Primp Style Lounge, brow touch-ups by Body & Brow, live music and somany cute new pieces for fall. I stopped by the store earlier this week to pick out some pieces from the line and ended up buying pretty much a new fall wardrobe so get ready to see a lot of D&D over here in the next couple weeks.
