Inspiration: Getting My Hair Did

Happy Friday! So today, I need your help. I’ve got a hair appointment this afternoon and I’m torn on what to do.

The other day I did a segment on WHAS  and after seeing my hair – I immediately called to get in the salon STAT. Right now it’s too long (never thought I’d say that) and as much as I wish I was good at fixing my hair, I’m just not. I was not blessed with the ability to wield a curling iron with precision or hair that performed well in humid conditions.

I’m thinking of either keeping it long with some more layering and a some highlights or going for a long-ish bob. Here’s the thing, I always question whatever I do with my hair. It’s problem. I’m thinking if I go with a long bob then it won’t be too drastic of a change.

What do you all think? Keep it long or go for the cut? I’m open to suggestions! Here’s a little mix of what I’m loving right now…

Elizabeth Olsen

Jennifer Anniston

Poppy Montgomery

Gwyneth Paltrow

Brooklyn Decker

Help a pal out! I’ll post pics on Instagram later in case you’re interested in what I go with!

I love the long bob! especially the Brooklyn Decker and Elizabeth Olsen pics. I am not great at styling my hair either BUT I found a tool that even I can use – a curling wand! It creates those great loose beachy waves that are so cute – especially on a long bob! I got mine at Target – I think it’s Conair. SO much easier than trying to use a curling iron or flatiron to create waves!

  2. I like the long bob look too. I recently chopped mine off and I find myself wishing I had kept a little more length on it. Brooklyn Decker’s is perfect!
