You guys, it’s official. I suck at blogging lately. I want to be better, I do! But then I keep failing.
One thing I promise not to drop the ball on is the 50 Under $50 Gift Guide. I’m already at work on it. If you’re on the hunt for anyone specifically, let me know and I’ll do some present hunting. And if there are any other gift guides you’re interested in seeing – let me know. I don’t like to do a ton but will happily oblige for those looking for someone specific!
Are you all ready for Thanksgiving? I’m not. We’re hosting a bunch of family – although thankfully I don’t have to make all the food – which means I need to get my act together at home. Basically that’s the story of my life: get my act together.
Since I hardly have time to do that, I certainly haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about what to wear. I’m thinking it’s going to be some variation on this outfit. I love camel and black together and this combo is about as easy as can be. This duster is also the best. I have it in both gray and camel. It makes even the simplest outfit a little bit better. And it is clutch for travel – it’s both a blanket and a way to get away with wearing leggings on a flight.
More from MudPie
I’ve never really thought about Mudpie for anything other than kids clothes until Dress & Dwell started carrying it. Their stuff is such great quality and really reasonably priced – this sweater is only $55 and is J.Crew or Banana Republic quality. I’ve picked up a few items from them and bought the pull-over version of this sweater too. It’s good stuff. It does run a little big though so I would size down. p.s. – this isn’t sponsored, I was just really impressed with their quality.
All the heart eyes for those tasseled mules. They may just have to find a home in my closet for Christmas. I feel like so many lines (especially those carried at my beloved D&D) are running so large lately. My petite (yet not skinny) frame just looks like a bag lady in everything.
