Sorry for all the sporadic posting lately, I promise to get back on a schedule this week and I’m hoping the upcoming holiday weekend gives me some downtime to really get my act back together on here.

I took these pictures a while back thinking there would be a fun game day opportunity to get a little more excited about Kentucky’s football. That day never came and since I didn’t want to totally shelve the pictures, I thought I’d share them with hopes for brighter football days in the future (pretty pretty please, fingers crossed) and more importantly around here, the beginnings of basketball season.

I snagged this Free People dress on sale at Von Maur and was hoping to break it for a fall game day but I think with temperatures falling by the cold second, I’ll be re-purposing this for winter under cozy cardigans, warm tights and boots.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post local ladies and lads, it’s the Louisville gift guide I’ve been working on and can’t wait to share – just in time for Small Business Saturday! I’m also putting the finishing touches on my (now) annual 50 under $50 gift guide. I plan on having it ready on Wednesday so you can get ideas for any Black Friday adventures and use it as a guide book for Cyber Monday online shopping sprees.
