Outfit Post: Bloggers Who Budget – Fall Shoe Trends

Sep 21, 2015

Kicking off the week with another installment in the Bloggers Who Budget series. Love being a part of this collaboration… much more than driving 10 hours back home which is what I’m doing today.

We spent a long weekend in Pawleys Island, South Carolina to celebrate our friends Lynsey and David’s wedding. Lynsey was stunning, the setting (Wachesaw Plantation) was gorgeous and everyone had the best time. Their band was on point and the night ended with warm chocolate chip cookies and milk. So good. We brought both kiddos (insert emoji with the bulging eyes here) so we are hauling our whole crew home on this Monday. It’s not “work” but it’s something.

{If you were following on Snapchat, you’d have seen our adventures the way down, beach adventures, a killer Hava Nagila and what it looks like to putt putt with the Aflac duck. Okay, that may not have convinced you.}

But back to the series and more importantly, these Sole Society booties. I love suede booties but by the end of every winter, my favorite pair has seen better days. So when the stores start breaking the booties out again, I start hunting for a fresh suede, everyday pair to fill last seasons’ void. These Lyriq booties fit the bill perfectly. The heel is just the right height and just wide enough to make them comfortable for long wear. I’ll be pairing these with skirts and fall dresses but today it’s all about my favorite fall casual look.

Gotta keep it simple – great jeans, a good oversized sweater and booties. Done and done.

Which is more than I can say about this road trip…

A big thank you to Sole Society for partnering with all the Bloggers Who Budget gals on this month’s post. Love all their fall goodies right now, including the Romy bootie (a big favorite of mine) and these tasseled suede ones. Make sure to check out all the posts to see what the other ladies picked.
