Clearly I’m on a pastel kick right now. Okay but today’s wasn’t intentionally planned to piggy-back on my Charleston trip. It just ended up happening that way.
I’m excited to be hopping in to the Bloggers Who Budget series with some of my favorite bloggers. See each month the gals hunt down on trend items that won’t kill your budget. While Maria {The Style Letters} sits out a few months to welcome her new babe, I’m subbing in and helping find looks for less. This month’s challenge was pastels and I got really luck with a few great finds at Gap. These girlfriend jeans are the perfect mix of blue and white. They’re also really soft and super comfortable. Most importantly for this girl of an odd height – they hit at just the right spot. They’re already under $75 but with a 40% off sale last week (there’s probably another one coming soon), I scored them plus this easy tank and scarf all under budget.
I sported this for dinner and strolling along King Street on Saturday night – swapping out my sandals for these heels once we got to Husk. By the way, if you’re heading to Charleston soon – make a reservation for dinner there or make plans to go by the bar for a cocktail. So so good.
I’m pumped to be a part of the series for the next few months so be sure to show the love and swing by all the other ladies blogs to check out their pastel finds.

And since one time in these outfit wasn’t enough… here’s a look at me wearing it the first time before my camera broke and I couldn’t finish snapping pictures. Mostly I’m just including it so you can see more of how gorgeous it was at Wild Dunes Resort.

Love this post and your site’s pretty new look! Gorgeous! (P.S. Hope you loved your time in Charleston!)
Okay, you’re killing me with this outfit. I was literally browsing the Gap website this morning and thinking to myself that I need both that tank AND the girlfriend jeans.
So….obviously I love this whole look!

So, I love this. Such a cool look. I need to check out those jeans immediately. We might be heading to Isle of Palms this summer and your photos have me slightly excited. So glad you are joining us!
