Cut off. No, thankfully not at the bar but more like what happened to our weekend thanks to the horrible weather.

Hopefully wherever you were it was nicer than it was here. I could definitely use a little sun in my life right now. This look was what I wanted to be wearing all weekend but instead spent most of the time dodging raindrops instead of packing up my pool bag. And yes, I know these shorts are super short. I’ve only worn them (and will continue to only wear them) to and from the pool. They are seriously comfy though. Like pj’s comfy.

Side note: This green vest that I snagged at Target a week or so ago is my new favorite thing. It’s light weight and silky so it’s the perfect summer layering piece. Not bulky or hot but gives you that extra layer you need on lots of dresses or tank tops. I’ve worn it at least five times since I got it less than ten days ago.

 Side note: Clearly I’m a little Sole Society obsessed but there hasn’t been a time I’ve gotten on their site and not found a cart full of things I want delivered to my door. I wore these sandals out this weekend since they are a tiny bit dressier than just plain sold flip flops. I love them. If you haven’t checked out their site yet, you need to especially now that they have bags, sunglasses and other fun accessories.
