For my birthday, Drew gave me a present that hit on two of my favorite things – television and fashion. Yes, I know that it is probably vapid to have those as two of my favorite things but I don’t care – I like what I like.

Back to the present – he snagged me a couple items from the Mad Men collection at Banana Republic. I love the gingham pants and I know these white sunglasses will be my summer poolside go-to’s. Like everyone else, I’m counting down to the premier this Sunday and had to put together a look inspired by my favorite 60’s ad execs. I tried to capture a little of the nostalgia but with a little more casual and modern feel.

Do you all watch Mad Men? Who’s your favorite character? (Side note: I literally ask Drew that question about every single show we watch. He is totally confused as to why I have to have a favorite on every show.) My favorites are Peggy, Sally and Roger Sterling.  I’m hoping that Betty’s gotten her act together since the last time we saw her. I like her to be the sassy, bitchy Betty not the sad, sundae-crushing Betty.
