Today is my first day of maternity leave, which basically means I no longer have work to distract me for the day and instead I get to wait it out at home in the comfort of my sweatpants (they’re all that fit me right now).

I’ve hit a bit of a wall when it comes to blogging inspiration, mostly because my brain can only focus on the countdown to Thursday morning. But then I realized that I still had some pictures of pretty gals in party dresses to share with the world.

I’ve been love love loving black and white dresses lately and this one from Dress & Dwell on Megan is no exception. I know it’s off limits to wear white to weddings but this dress works for all kinds of other summer occasions. Topping it off with these minty accessories gives it a subtle touch of color but you can obviously go bolder with bright colors.
